SMS Terms & Consent

Effective date: April 2026  ·  Last updated: April 2026

Wallibon is a paid service that helps with everyday questions, reminders, and family connection, delivered over SMS and operated by Walt Adler Design Inc at wallibon.com. This page describes how the SMS service works, how consent is given, and how your phone number and message data are handled.

What Wallibon Is

Wallibon is a service that helps with everyday questions, reminders, and staying connected to family. A person enrolled in Wallibon can text the Wallibon phone number at any time and receive warm, conversational replies. Designated family caregivers receive daily summaries of conversation highlights.

Wallibon is not a medical device, emergency response system, or healthcare service. For medical emergencies, call 911.

How Consent to Receive SMS Is Given

The opt-in consent event is the enrolled phone number replying YES to a verification SMS. No service messages are sent until that YES reply is received. If the enrolled person replies STOP — or does not reply at all — the enrollment is cancelled and the consent record is closed. The enrolled person can opt out at any time by replying STOP, regardless of how enrollment was initiated.

The verification SMS describes the service, message frequency (1–10 messages per day), and supported keywords:

Verification SMS (sent first)"Hi — Wallibon sends SMS messages to help with everyday questions, reminders, and staying in touch with family (about 1–10 msgs/day). Reply YES to confirm and start, or STOP to cancel. Msg & data rates may apply."

The public web enrollment form is live at wallibon.com/signup. It captures the affirmative consent checkbox at submission time, stores the consent record (name, exact consent language, IP address, timestamp), and triggers the verification SMS. The SMS-YES verification gates all service messages, regardless of whether enrollment was initiated by the user themselves or a family caregiver.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase. For each enrolled number, Wallibon stores a record of the consent, including the name of the person who initiated enrollment, the consent language affirmed in the verification SMS, the timestamp, and the verification reply received from the enrolled number.

The public enrollment form

Below is the Wallibon enrollment form, available now at wallibon.com/signup. It captures an affirmative consent checkbox, stores the consent record (name, exact consent language, IP address, timestamp), and triggers the verification SMS for both self-enrollment and caregiver enrollment.

Enrollment paths

Wallibon supports both self-enrollment (a user enrolls their own number) and caregiver-initiated enrollment (a family caregiver enrolls an aging relative). In both paths, the verification SMS is sent to the phone number being enrolled, and that number's YES reply is the consent event. The enrolled person can opt out at any time by replying STOP, regardless of who initiated the original enrollment.

Messages You Will Receive

Once enrolled, the enrolled phone number will receive:

Designated family caregivers (separate phone numbers, also opted in) receive daily conversation summaries.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on how often the enrolled user interacts with the service. There is no fixed daily cap; users generally receive only as many messages as their own use of the service produces. Most users receive between one and ten messages per day. Caregivers typically receive one summary per day.

Sample messages

From Wallibon to an enrolled user"Good morning. How are you feeling today?"
From Wallibon to an enrolled user"Got it — I made a note. I'm here whenever you want to share more."
Daily caregiver summary"Here's what came up with Mom today: she mentioned feeling a little tired this morning, talked about a visit from Linda, and had a nice chat about the garden."

Opt-In Confirmation Message

When a new user is enrolled and first activates the service, the following automated confirmation message is sent to the enrolled phone number:

Opt-in confirmation auto-reply"Welcome to Wallibon! You're all set. Just text anytime you'd like to chat. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."

Re-opt-in after a prior opt-out is triggered by replying START or YES and produces the same confirmation.

Opting Out and Getting Help

You may opt out of Wallibon SMS messages at any time, at no cost, by replying with any of the following keywords to any Wallibon message:

After replying STOP (or any equivalent), you receive one final automated confirmation:

STOP auto-reply"You've been unsubscribed from Wallibon. No further messages will be sent. To enroll again, visit wallibon.com/signup."

To resume service after opting out, reply START or YES.

For help, reply HELP or INFO to any Wallibon message. You will receive the following automated reply:

HELP auto-reply"Wallibon sends SMS messages to help with everyday questions and reminders. For help contact walt@wallibon.com. Reply STOP to unsubscribe."

Carrier Fees

Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply to messages you send to or receive from Wallibon. Wallibon does not charge a per-message fee; the service is offered on a subscription basis described at sign-up.

Wallibon supports SMS on major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

How Phone Numbers and SMS Data Are Handled

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Phone numbers and SMS opt-in data collected for the Wallibon service are not shared with, sold to, or rented to any third party for marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes. SMS data is used exclusively to operate the Wallibon service, and is shared only with the service providers strictly necessary to deliver it; those providers are contractually restricted to using the data solely for providing services to Wallibon. A current list of subprocessors is maintained in the Privacy Policy.

Caregivers designated on a given account receive daily conversation summaries; this is a core function of the service and is disclosed at enrollment.
